Parent and child swim lessons for babies

Parent & Child Aquatics

Ages 6m-3y

Parent and Child Aquatics teaches safe behaviors around the water and helps develop swimming readiness. We lead parents and their children in water exploration activities with the objective of having fun and becoming comfortable in, on, and around water.

Learn to Swim

Ages 6y and Up
Group 4:1 Ratio or Semi Private 2:1 Ratio

Red Cross Learn-to-Swim consists of six comprehensive levels that teach kids of varying ages and abilities how to swim skillfully and safely. Each level includes training in basic water safety. All aquatic and safety skills are taught in a logical progression. The objective is to teach kids to swim and to be safe in, on and around the water.

Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills
Level 2: Fundamental Aquatic Skills
Level 3: Stroke Development
Level 4: Stroke Improvement
Level 5: Stroke Refinement
Level 6: Swimming and Skill Proficiency

Water Aerobics

Ages 16y and Up

Water Aerobics is excellent, low impact exercise. We offer classes in the morning, afternoon and evening.

Private Swim Lessons

Ages 3y and Up

Most of our lessons at all levels can be done in a one on one private lesson. This is a great option for students who prefer individual attention.

Preschool Aquatics

Ages 3y-5y

Preschool Aquatics aims to promote the developmentally appropriate learning of fundamental water safety and aquatic skills of young children. Red Cross Preschool Aquatics teaches aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression through three levels of courses.

Homeschool PE

Ages 6y and Up
1-2 Times Per Week

Our homeschool PE group focuses on improving health and swim strokes. Some dry-land is involved after swimming skills are on par. You must have a trial class to determine if you are ready for this group.

Stroke & Turn Class

Ages 8y and Up
Great for League Prep

Level 1 - Pre-Competitive Group for swimmers on the team for 1st time (must be able to breathe and back float independently). 45 minutes long, up to 6 swimmers per instructor.

Level 2 - Stroke Learning Competitive Group (learning breast and fly)- must know freestyle and backstroke. 30 minutes for 4 or less students, or one hour long for up to 8 students per instructor.

Level 3 - Stroke and Turns for those wanting to improve on 3 of 4 known strokes and to learn the 4th plus all starts and turns for each stroke. One hour long, up to 8 students per instructor.

Adult Swim Lessons

Ages 16y and Up

These courses are intended for teens and adults at different levels of swimming ability. The following courses are available:

Level 1 - Learning the Basics can help teens or adults overcome their fear of the water and learn the basic skills to achieve a minimum level of water competency. In this course, participants strive for skill and stroke performance.

Level 2 - Learning and Refining Swim Strokes helps teens and adults improve their foundational skills and swimming strokes. Students gain confidence in the water, are able to enjoy the water with their children safely. Some students chose this course because they own their own pool or are looking to eventually learn to SCUBA.

Level 3 - Fitness Swimming is for adults who swim for fitness want to learn to refine their strokes for a variety of reasons. Some may want to use the benefits of the water to improve their fitness levels, while others may want to participate in a masters swimming program or other competitive sports, such as, triathlons or open water distance swimming.
